The only thing I did not like about the Ares was the handle.
It was just not very comfortable in my grip.

I bought an Ares and returned it a few days later. That's the only knife I've ever done that with. It was the "knife of the month" version with red/black G10 handles. I really didn't like it at the time but now I wish I'd kept it. When I returned it I exchanged it for my Osbourne 940, which became one of my all time favorite knives, and holds my EDC record of about 2 years. So I think it was a good trade. The Ares was just way too thick and bulky for the blade size. Some of the new Snody models share this unfortunate characteristic.

I have 730 and I like everything about it. I already sold all my Benchmades exept Ares. She is a keeper.

I have and enjoy the 730 and the 732. I love Spydercos but there are 3 Benchmades that I own and really like - 705, 730/732, and 940/960. However, I did just pick up a 630 that is starting to grow on me.:D
