Does anyone else think most clips are just to big?

I had a custom Elishewitz for a while, the one with the butterfly clip (The short one, I think that's what it's called) and I LOVED it! Now I wish that most were a lot shorter, since they are constantly getting in my way.
Does anyone feel this way? Thanks!

Yes most clips are too big. They stick out below the belt and get caught or scratch things. Most clips also make the knife stick up too high and draw unwanted attention.

Yes, overkill! I redo all my clips(if applicable)smaller and shorter! Some clips actually are almost as long as the knife!!

I'd like a shorter clip, but I feel the knife is more secure with a longer one when clipped to my pocket. I was surfing around A.G. Russell's site and saw a Boker Clip Knife that has an interesting clip on it. It's short, and when the blade is open, it sinks into the handle.

Most clips are too big,secure is a good thing but as previously stated some clips are almost as long as the knife.

I've been wanting to try one of those out, but they are just way too overpriced.

I think there is a lot that needs to be changed about pocket clips. They feel ugly when you grip the knife tightly, and they are too big and stick out too much.

Wire clips are awesome and I would love to see more of them.

Outdoor Edge recessed the clip into the scale on the Impulse and Magna. It was awesome. I'd have liked a lower ride variant, but it really improved the handle feel of the blade.

I wish some other manufacturers would do so again.

I think that most clips could be a full one inch shorter and be perfectly fine. Why they are so long is beyond my scope of knowledge.

I hate the shiny clip on the Benchmade skirmish, it just screams im carrying a big knife.

Wireclips are great! Spyderco Salsa have the most comfortable clips I have yet to use. You hardly feel them. They are still too large. Smaller would even be better!
