Does anyone find the grip on the VTAC rather slippery?

Hi everyone, just wanted to see how many VTAC owners are unsatisfied with their grip of the handle. While the glass filled nylon handle is just about indestructible, I do have the quarrel of it being extremely slippery in the hands. I feel that if I swing hard enough it could possibly fly out of my hands.

Does anyone feel this way? If so what mods have you done to remedy the grip? I have heard about heat stippling but I am not interested in that as I do not have the patience for it. I was thinking going to my local sporting goods store and picking up a roll of bat or tennis racket tape. What do you guys do to improve the grip on your VTAC?

I have never had a problem but usually just throw the ones I have. Have heard of people using hockey stick tape which is probably the same as tennis racket tape. Give it a try !
