Ok, I don't scuba dive. The closest I come is fishing from a canoe. I do however collect all kind of knives. Ive been looking at the Boker ti mariner for awhile, trying to decide if I should get it. Does anyone out there have this knife ? Could you give me your thoughts on it, Thanks.

I saw one of these today at a gun show. It was unserrated but had a sharp tip. They wanted about $130.00 for it. I have other Boker Ti knives both in beta Titanium and Cera Titan. Boker knows their way around Ti, but the Magnum line is their entry level. My brother the dive guy says that many organized dives and sanctuary type dive locations do not allow knives. Many instructors will not allow pointed knives in their classes. Too easy to damage an air hose. Double edge knives are illegal in many jurisdictions. In my state, switch blades are a third degree misdemeanor, but double edges are a felony.

Thanks for the info. I'm not a fan of double edged knives, I have one thats for show, a Gerber Mark 1. I try and stay away from them, just something about the look and design of the ti mariner that sucks me in.
