Does Anyone Have A Chitlangi With An Engraved Buttcap?

I'm aware that some have notching on the keeper... On special orders, some forumites have requested engraved buttcaps. I ordered the engraving myself on a soon to arrive Chitlangi, and am curious as to the standard designs used.

Hmmmm. I was wrong. It does not have any engraving on the buttcap. It has about a inch wide strip of a diamond shaped engraving (like on a rifle stock or pistol handle). The bolster also has the same pattern on it. It will be late tonight before I can get any pics up, if you still want them.

Here we go. Looking at the pics the engraving is the same as what is on my other Chitlangi. It is much more well done on this one.

Thanks, Mark; the contrast between the black engraved horn and the brass is very nice. I think that the Chitlangi usually comes with a notched keeper and palin buttcap...

I've got to take a pic of my Chainpuri. It has a carved row all around the base of the butt, kind of like a capital T, then an upside down one, so forth and so on, all joined together Kinda greco-roman looking. Also the karda and chakma are marked like those in these pix- the karda is just straight lines, the chakma has a crisscross. Can tell apart without pulling. Actual buttcap is brass, not engraved/carved, but smaller than most, doesn't cover whole butt like some (most) models. Hope this helps. It's really nice work- prettiest khuk I have.
