The title pretty much says it all. I have been seeing photos of Northwood Fremont Jacks and I now have the Fremont Jack bug.
So now I am looking for a photo with a GEC 73 and Fremont Jack. I understand that another run of them are a month or so away.

Thank you everyone.

No one has a photo of a GEC model 73 and Northwoods Fremont Jack side by side for comparison?

You could post this in the dedicated "Great Eastern Cutlery Photo Requests" thread, you might get more luck there.

:)

ps: I'm afraid I have neither so I cannot help you.

That is a damn good idea. Thank you.

I have both knives, I'll try to get you a photo at some point tonight if the light stays good.

I like the Fremont quite a bit, it has nice thick blade stock and the sabre grind is quite attractive. I'm the second owner and it came to me fairly sharp. Ive used it to break down a few boxes and cut up an apple or two and haven't had any troubles with it. No hot spots on the handle. it's a very comfortable knife to use.

I hope more of those Fremont Jacks are made. Very attractive.

They are on GEC's production schedule! At least on GEC's website they list the Fremont Jack as a Northwoods SFO on their production schedule. I would guess that means they are a couple of months away.
