Anyone have one and what do you think about it?

Hopefully I will like the above knife. A micarta Sodbuster pattern with D2 sounds really nice. I went ahead and ordered one tonight. Once I get some time with it I will report back with how it is.

I don't think you will be disappointed Mr. Fonda D-2 and Micarta gotta be dang near indestructible!

They seem to be pretty hard to find...the Delrin version is readily available, but the micarta version is supposedly available at one vendor who I trust, and another which appears to be sketchy, at best, since they don't allow you to contact them except via email; no phone, no address, no nada.

Mine has been as excellent carry, in spite of a somewhat weak spring (about a 4 for pull and I like it 6 - 7) - solidly built, great micarta, great steel. Highly recommended.

I am looking forward to it showing up on my doorstep! A micarta handle and D2 blade steel is just too nice to pass up.
