Does anyone have any experience with this awesome (looking) axe?

I've had my eye on that for a while. It's very cool looking, as are most of the Japanese axes. I'm about an hour from that store, I might head up there one of these days.
 
excuse my newness but as cool as that hatchet looks, im a little skeptical about how much stress is going to be on the haft since the blade will be putting a lot of torque on such a small surface area
 
It's shape reminds me a little of this Mueller "roughing" broad axe.

I'd bet without the tennis racket wrap from Wilson that's held on with electrical tape that thing has a nasty sting to it with the short handle when you use it
