Does anyone have any information about this early Benchmade axe

I bought this Benchmade axe a long time ago. Can anyone tell me anything about it (I was a lot younger when I bought it and I don't remember much about the axe). It is about 18 inches long and 3/16 thick, and came with a leather sheath; it says Benchmade USA on one side of it and has the butterfly logo on the other side.

Thanks for the information. I was going to buy 2 when I bought this, but the store that I was buying from kept getting the silver ones in and not the black.
 
Hey kanjow, it's good to hear from you again. this may sound crazy :sneakiness: it was so long ago, you were going to sell me that hawk. I remember that you hadnt had it long. We only spoke once about it and I never heard from you again. I suppose you will want to take some time to think on this. If any memory of this comes back and you still want to get rid of it, let me know. Take your time, not remembering stuff sucks. You wouldnt believe it but it happens to me all the time. This might not even be the deal I remember. Good Luck.
