Does anyone have experience with Extrema Ratio folders?

How is the general build quality and f&f ? I'm concidering either the MF2 or the Fulcrum II D but I need more reassurance their quality justifies their price. Thanx !

I've got a Fulcrum II folder. It's built like a tank. Doesn't cut for poop because it's basically a sharpened pry bar. I re profiled it on my edge pro and it's a little better, but still not what you would call a slicer. You could probably pry a car door open with it, though. The back lock is very strong. It takes some effort to close it. It's a chunk to pocket carry. Very thick and heavy. Ergos aren't great either. It's very angular so I can imagine hot spots being an issue if you didn't wear some kind of gloves when giving it a true workout. All in all, it's a very well made knife, though. Fit and finish are very good.

That's kinda hard to answer. Hell, I'll ship it to you and you can check it out for yourself if you want. If you like it we can work something out. If not you can ship it back. How's that?

That would probably turn out too costly and somewhat tricky since I'm in The Netherlands. Poor thing would have to exchange many hands.

Lol. You may have a point. I didn't realize you were overseas from me. Oh well. It's a nice knife but I don't carry it because it's so chunky and heavy. It's kinda like the pinnacle of a tacticool knife. Much better than the dark ops and mantisi of the knife world, quality wise.
