Does anyone have experience with the Buck 55?

Hi folks,

I have been toying with the idea of buying a Buck 55 and am waiting on my favorite online store to get more in (hurry up Roger!). Anyway, what do any of you who actually OWN or HAVE OWNED think of it?

If you are toying with the idea.....get it. It is a tank for its size. I like to tell people I accidentally left my 110 in my pocket and it shrank in the dryer. :)
 
I have 2 of them.
I have used the regular model a ton (especially in the garden), and it is a great solid little knife.
The other one is the limited edition nickel silver and white bone model, and I use that one for when I have to get dressed up :)

Definately gets a thumbs up from me :)
 
I have one in my pocket now and use it daily. I got it about 10 months ago and I carry it every day. A great little knife to carry. Most everyone seems to like it.
 
Can't remember exactly where I heard this, but the 55 got it's name because it was about half the size of a 110. I thought that was a great way to name the knife.

My youngest brother could have been called "Stu" if my parents would have followed that reasoning. ;)
 
I carried one as my sole EDC for probably 6 years. It's a tank of a knife!

Lost it somewhere when I moved houses and have thought about grabbing another one lately.
