I've had a couple... still have one that I refuse to part with. They are fine knives for some heavier use. Mine have both been very well made, sharp, and have held up well with the use they've gotten. I wouldn't hesitate to take my 14205 out in the woods for a day or a longer period. I usually carry Militaries or Paramilitaries, but sometimes I want a heavier knife with a dependable lock and a very sturdy blade & tip. That's when I take the 14205. I have as much confidence in it's performance as I do in my Spydercos.
I like 154CM steel for it's toughness and ease of resharpening. The blade has good length for a folder, enough belly, and a strong tip. That's what I like in a woods knife.
BTW, the 14210 is excellent for a smaller EDC blade if you like the 14205 but find it a bit large for EDC. There's a mild recurve that I could do without, but since I use a Sharpmaker w/ U/F rods, it's no problem to deal with the recurve.
