I dont have operating manual for the detachable electronic self contained component on the i-Quip comprising Altimeter,Barometer,Digital Compass,Digital Clock etc and was wondering if any member has them they could email to me please? I have contacted another USA owner who also doesnt have the instructions and is just as confused a me which buttons to press etc. I will supply him a copy also if I can get one. Thanks,..Hoo Roo.

Larry,
I JUST, like 3 days ago, got one new in the box off the bay. Let me look this weekend to see if I can get the instructions out without tearing things up. If I can, I'll scan and email them to you.

Dave

I got lots of schematics but no instructions. I never knew 1 device could have so many patents.
I'll keep looking

Many Thanks Dave, Brady and Larry me old buddy.....Lets see if we can all get Codge back on here like the good old days........
Dave ,do you mind telling me how much you paid as these were expensive little items ($200) when issued in 2003 and even won some award for the electronic component. I'm going to take mine travelling right around Oz which my wife and little pooch are setting up for at the moment. My email address is pnlarry@chariot.net.au Hoo Roo.

Larry,
I found it last night and was able to get to it, but haven't gotten it scanned yet. Will try to get to that sometime today. That thing is almost 40 PAGES!!!! I snagged mine on a BIN for $50. NIB, although the box isn't in great shape.

By the way, Larry, I wish you hadn't combined that little LL BEAN LB3 with the LB8! I've got no need for the LB8, but sure would have loved to had that LB3!!

Bargain mate..well done indeed..I paid US $ 120! ..new but without instructions......
Are the actual electronic component instructions 40 pages?.....I have the Navitool instructions which is basically the same for both knives, just cant work the altimeter etc. Thanks for any assistance you can give. Hoo Roo.

Dave, Larry,

If one of you want to copy the booklet's and send me a copy I'll scan it for the web site.

Larry,
I can either send you a copy by mail, or scan this in and email it to you. Your preference.

Dave

Dave,
If you have a scanner and can convert to pdf e-mail would be great
if not i'll pay postage.
thanks
Larry

Thank you so much David and Larry, received O.K. by email and I have replied by private email thanking you both. Now that I've perused it I think flying a Jet Fighter would be somewhat easier. There was no way I was going to operate it without that Manual Dave was there? Thanks again. I have referred the other US owner without them to lrv's site. Hoo Roo

You both are more than welcome, just glad I could help those that put so much into this place! BTW, I don't know if you noticed, but when she scanned it for me, somehow she scanned page 11 twice. I didn't notice until after I sent it.

Dave

Dave,
I did and its not in the web version :)
We'll just call it the bonus page.

Old thread on the I-Quip...when Larry V put the instructions up on his site for Schrade Posterity...Hoo Roo

Larry's site is the place to go for research on Schrade, Camillus, Western and many other knives. I don't know how many times I have referenced the site while attempting to help people indentify their knives. Our help with provding information for Larry to post has helped a lot.
