Hey everyone, I was recently looking at my collection and realized that I had knives/blades from around 11 different countries and I'm also in the process of waiting on a custom knife being made in Argentina. I was wondering if anyone else here on this forum has knives in their collection that represent the many different countries out there.

Awaiting delivery of a Neill Schutte 8 inch dagger. Neill is from South Africa and in the Guild there. Neill said he would deliver it to me when he gets here for the Blade Show...so within 7 days I should have it.

I've bookmarked knives that I want from Italian and German knife makers and it's just a matter of time before those knives are ordered.

A significant part of my collection (accumulation ;)) is knives from various countries. Higonokami, opinel, "black cat", opkapi, lionsteel, Kizer, Languille, and many others. A lot of fun, very interesting, educational and NOT all are expensive; in fact, many are just the opposite. :D Nice thread.

While the bulk of my knives were made in the US, I also have knives from other countries. At this point, these countries come to mind. Might be others
Bulgaria
China
Finland
France

Who's the maker? Bladesmiths down here in Argentina have improved their quality level dramatically over the past few years. A group of them have been attending Blade Show for a couple of years and done some interesting colaborations with US bladesmiths.

My collection is quite international. I like a lot of different knife styles so I've got stuff from all over the globe. Off the top of my head: Argentina, Uruguay, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, US, Taiwan, China, Japan, Italy, Nepal, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Finland, India, etc. I'm waiting on some knives from Russia, Thailand and Czechia.

His name is Patricio Drackull, he has some offerings for very reasonable prices on Ebay for custom traditional Argentinian fixed blades. From what I've seen, Argentinian bladesmiths really know their stuff when it comes to making pieces with great fit and finish and quality materials. Even Bokers line from Argentina looks pretty good too, I'll have to go to Blade Show some time so I can check them out.

I've got a few from the Norwegian ones obviously, other than that it's dominated by USA made.
Or at least, American companies, as about half are made in China.

A few Opinels, a Douk-Douk. Nothing too exotic.
