Didn't know how to make this clear in subject line. Does anyone here do modifications to knives like move pocket clips from one end to the other? Drilling and tapping the holes, etc.

I am often frustrated that a knive I want has the clip on the wrong end for me and there are no tapped holes at the other end.

It would probably be cheaper and less frustrating for you to simply buy the tap, drill bits, and screws and do the job yourself, 1911.
Not many makers like fiddling with premade knives for a couple reasons.
One is thier knife making time.
Theres usually little of it and they want to spend it making thier own knives, and two is they don't want to take the chance of damaging a customer's knife.
I say they when maybe I should be saying me, I guess.
Don't mean to clump the rest of you folks in with me.
I'd be happy to post or email you links to places where you can get the items needed to do the job you mentioned.
