Yes, I know her story : it is my beloved Battle Mistress.
I do not have a lot of money. So each Busse knife I own (4) represents a lot of $$$ sacrifices. I take care of them because they are expensives knives, but first of all because their quality is extraordinary. Even if I have seen a lot of (and enough) informatives tests and proofs about their robustness, I do not need to chop concrete, or bricks, or knives (!!!:barf
or whatever... I can cut a big chunk of solid wood, a tree trunk with my Busse, and that is enough for me : it will not break, and it will stays sharp to continue its work.
This weekend I was into the woods with this CGFBM to cut his first Christmas tree to my son. Back to my house, I decided to clean the few spots of rust (snow and kydex sheath...) and to polish by hand the angles of the front guard, the rear talon, the pommel and the back. Nothing exceptional you know. She is just much more comfortable now. And more beloved.
This CGFBM is my user knife for big tasks. It is may be just a tool, but I love it. And because I do not abuse it, because I respect it, undoubtedly it will last my lifetime, and I will passing it to my son.
