I have a complete set of these and I know where they came from approximately what year(s) they were made. I know they are German. I have the original literature that came with the set when purchased or given. I do know more about, obviously, how I became the owner and who had them before I did.
Do they belong in a museum? Or do I keep them in a safe or safe deposit box? Every person I've tried to contact about these, university professors of history and weapons, war memorabilia collectors, weapons museums curators, none have even written me with any kind of reply at all. Not even to say they don't know anything about them.
Maybe, hopefully someone could shine some light on this for me. Thanks
