Does anyone know how many Buck Sawby 539's were produced? These are the Tru-Blu folding filet knives produced with the front Sawby button lock, not the ones with the lock on the back. I have been able to find approximate numbers on the other Buck Sawby models but not on the 539.

I have one of these myself and was just curious.

I have always been told there were about 250 in circulation. I belive they were all stamped with the 1988 date stamp. I hope this helps.
