Does anyone know Nieto knives

i have the small axe from the last picture in the link you provided
the 440C steel held up to extensive use in backpacking trips and the micarta scales are smooth & nice contoured
a good user at a decent price

I got a chance to handle one of their large lockblades in 440C and stag a few years ago at a knife show. It was to heavy for me to want to carry, but it seemed pretty well built.

I have two Nieto fixed (full tang) and both are good users. The handles (olive wood) could be a bit longer, but that's it. The 440C steel cuts pretty well in combination with the hollow grind.
But I also heard some criticism bout their folding knives, reaching from slippery handles to completely falling apart...
IMO the fixed blades are worth the money!

Seen a lot of their knives in the UK and the the prices here (no import fees as they are made in the EU) they are really very good

same sort of quality as the byrd range of knives IMO
