does anyone know photonenpumpe V8 and how good are they in survivak situations?

Just got me a photonenpumpe V8....

neat little gadget... gives a lot of light, solid steel housing, nice switch... package says it gives light about 300 hours ( my maglite can't even reach that), beam strength comparable to a 2 AA maglite.

now...is is a LED light, gives blueish white light, feels high quality and all.

Anyone familiar?

And if you know them, can I take this little thing along on a survival trip for tentlight?

same info except that they say it is an ALU body..it most definetly is stainless steel.
