Hello new here I’ve had a knife for my drawer for about a year or two now that I got from my father when he passed away, I know it’s a bench made but unsure of what model and hardly any information on it. Just wondering to see if anyone knows any more detail About it. Would be much appreciated thank you.

Link doesn't work.
Use the BBCode for the picture.
You need IMG tags and an image type suffix thats either .jpg, .png or .gif.
The format is like this-

Agree with Bill, definitely the mini, model 812SBT. The mini has a bit of a hump along the spine of the blade between the thumb hole and the jimping. The full-size version doesn't have that. The blade of the full-size AFCK is around 4" long (give or take a fraction) measured from the handle to the tip of the blade. The blade of the mini AFCK is around 3.25".

Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, your knife also appears to be an older, original version of the mini as it appears to have hex drive handle screws (the smaller screws, not the pivot screw). They later switched to torx handle screws.

The opposite side of the blade should say what steel the blade is made of. My guess would be ATS-34.

Thank you all for the help he had plenty of knives. A lot of cheaper one like smith and Wesson and some SOG flashes. This one caught my eye cause the butterfly logo. I thought it was fake at first cause it didn’t have the markings the newer ones have. And it’s the mini version ? The full length unfolded is 7.5 inches. I do know he bought it in I wanna say early or mid 90’s

Also it does say ATS-34 any idea if it’s decent metal or a decent knife? I am not sure is I want to use it for work but I do know for sure I’m never getting rid of it since it was by father’s. I plan on giving it to my son when he is older.

ATS-34 became pretty popular in the early 1990s and was considered a very good steel for knives at that time. It's still a good steel, but with lots of advancements most want to buy the latest / greatest options that come out.

ATS 34 is a good steel.
Do some research on that knife before you do anything. The AFCK is probably one of Benchmades best efforts. Those early ones are hard to find especially in that condition.
