Concerning the Umnum, are there any plans to offer CG's, Inlays/onlays, different patterns other than the intersecting lines, etc. as with the Seb.'s? How about special order or custom options?
What say the grapevine?

Thanks for any knowledge or privied speculation;)

ps: What happened to the "Mystery Steel"?

Good lord:eek: :eek:Finally some good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant wait to find out what we get to play with.:D

Well, other than the Tanto Blade, I haven't seen anything new go through True North.

But, even if there were a "One OFF", that wouldn't answer my original question...

I guess no one knows of any plans of possible handle/scale options for the 'Zaan. The Plaza cutlery deal is the only one I've seen different, except for the prototype having the name on it.

If anyone does know and I've missed it, I'd appreciate any info.

Thanks again,

Gibby

I own one of the two mystery steel Umnumzaans (S35VN).

There were 2 of these knives made each of different handle embellishment which makes each knife a " One of a kind ".

I have a letter from Anne Reeve.

" The knife you own is extremely rare as we are not planning to embellish handles on any Umnumzaans. Also , we have no immediate plans to switch our folding knife material choice to S35VN so you definitely own a knife ahead of its time ! "

Thanks bigmark408. No IMMEDIATE plans, huh? When was that, late last year, early this year If I recall. Not sure when those sold.

Well, maybe in 20010 then.

Thanks again - Gibby

About a month ago, Heather told me the same thing. No intention of offering any customization to the Umnumzaan.
