I was wondering when the Kershaw K.O. Spec Bump with S30V blade steel is going to be offered. I really like this knife with the 154CM, but wanted to give the S30V a try seeing that my BM 9130 Taurus Auto features the 154CM (but I do not use it as an EDC).

Any help would be great, and many thanks in advance guys...

Reason for my want of the Kershaw is that my CRKT M16-13M model's AUS-8 blade is too soft for my liking.
Just reason for a cause that's all...

Thanks...

S30V far outperforms AUS8, it's a noticeable difference. People talk about S30V chipping, but I have no problems. In fact, the only steels I use that chip are the AUS steels...I have an AUS6 and an AUS8 chipping problem under normal use. But I don't remember putting them in there...you always have to wonder what happens to your knives when your friends are there and you're away. Normal people are always trying to cut tin cans in half, etc.

Anyway, it doesn't cost anymore, so, why not get the best.

Yo Artful, thanks for the update both on blade and date info. Much appreciated, and I'll be on the lookout. Who do you think will have it for the cheapest going rate? Who do you go through?

Thanks once again,
Cleary

Newgraham knives will be close to the best price, but they're so reliable I *only* order from them. I despise ordering expensive things online...I just don't trust the mail that much. I also like to see what I buy first.

So I call Newgraham. I talk to the nice folks there (ask for the knife store! They're a restaurant too), tell them what I want, and then ask them to take out a few and examine it thoroughly. I'm pretty picky with my knives.

It's very nearly the best prices all around.
