Does Anyone Make a Decent High-Profile Ball Cap Anymore?

Hello, folks,

I've always liked the tall-front, high-profile ball caps (similar to the old-style "trucker's caps") because I have a big ol' 7-3/4 size head. Today's low-profile caps, if they fit at all, sit flat on the top of my head looking like a wilted cow patty. Does anyone make a heavy, tall-profile or 5-panel cap anymore? I'd prefer a solid cotton cap rather than the foam and mesh ones.

Check out New Era 59fifty hats. Wool, fitted, good quality and can be found in most malls. Personally, I don't like them specifically because they are high profile, and my wife says they look weird on me.

That's the type I prefer myself, I quite dislike all these roundtops everywhere nowdays.
I have two of the "peaked" Ottos, need to scare up some more.
Can't recall the site, but I found one large Internet source last year for Ottos. Had to wade through a few different models, but they did have what I was looking for.

All I have come up with for retail sources for Otto so far is some listings on Amazon that are confusing (pictures and descriptions don't seem to match). If you happen to figure out what model you buy, or the website you got them from, I'd appreciate that information. I don't seem to be a very effective internet searcher!

Does anyone know what the difference is between the "golf style" and "pro style" cap is?

There is a website called something like big head caps . com that specializes in you guessed it, hats for guys with big heads. They seem to have some high profile caps.
 
Take a look at patagonoa truckers hat, may be just what you want. A bit pricey, though.

Thanks for posting this! I'm always trying on ball caps in stores wherever I go, looking for that 1 in 100 that actually fit my big ol' head. I ordered a couple ball caps from these guys and I'm a satisfied customer! Nice quality and big enough for my 7 3/4 size melon. ;)
 
I have yet to find a fitted baseball cap that fits my head and doesn't hit the top of my ears. I am currently wearing a Pirates hat with a cloth adjuster in the back that I got at JC Penney's in Pittsburgh. Still trying to find a good one.
 
Under Armour makes decent ball caps.

I just did an Amazon search for Otto Five Panel Cap & found a bunch.
In fact, also just ordered one. :)
