Have a Bk2 coming today and kinda wanting to MOD the handle to give it a rubbery grip somehow. But am just wondering if anybody knows if anyone makes CF scale handles for Becker's? Also who makes the best micarta ones? Thanks.

I'm just gonna say that carbon fiber scale material big enough for a Becker would be many times more expensive than the knife. If you get the materials, you might be able to get a custom guy to make them for you. A big enough sheet of carbon fiber would likely be at least a couple hundred dollars though, I'd bet.

The Kabar micarta is fantastic. I have them on most all of my Beckers. If all you are wanting is a rubbery grip, I would go with a wrap of some sort, either gun grip wrap, tennis racquet wrap, or even a bike tube piece. I have seen each of these and they are great.

CF is pricy and usually only comes in pieces 3/16" thick at most, so you'd probably have to double it up and/or put a G10 liner under it to build up a piece thick enough for a Becker-style handle. It would definitely look cool, though.

If you want good micarta, check out the factory stuff or for something special check with dexwithers or 710.

I don't know anything about Carbon Fiber so can't help you there.
