center = HI 30" ang khola
name = goliath

1 right of center = HI 26" chiruwa ang khola
name = shiva

far right = khukuri house 43" buffalo model (gelbu special style blade)
name = the kraken

the rest were just work horse... something about those three blades that really set them apart to an extent that they deserved naming...

I've thought about it, but then I realize that I'm not creative enough to make up good ones.

Only one: the CS Trailmaster I bought from the late Gadi Blilious. That one's named after him.

I named one I cut myself with today, but if I told you what I called it this would go straight to W&C:o

My CRK Mnandi/bocote inlay....Her name is Kate.
I affectionately call my Victorinox Settler the Wench....She does anything I ask her to. ;) :rolleyes:

my Kershaw Blur is Big Red and my benchmade 886 knife of the month edition is Bluey

I don't name my knives. When I buy them, they already have names from the manufacturer or knifemaker. I just cut myself with ... uhhh, I mean, I just cut things with them.

It's a somewhat entertaining movie, starring Tom Hanks, John Candy and Tom Hanks now wife (hot, except for her face). A former special forces guy talks to his knife in several spots in the movie, I forget what the name was, but it's one of the funniest scenes in the movie. I thought it was goofy to name your knives, but I guess a lot of people do it. :D

I have a few knives kicking around the house that I refer to as that "POS". I even gave the same name to a friend's knife once. :D Bruce

I have an old Gerber MKII that I bought at the Marine Corps Exchange back in 1977. My Brother named it, "Whispering Death". He's a real Mall Ninja. :D

I tend to call a lot of things "Billy Baluba" (sp), typically it's the biggest of anything I own and it comes from Caddy Shack. It's what the judge called his big driver...

Other than that, no.

I name all my knives Margaret in honor of my beautiful yet dangerous Celtic wife.

I used to name them after the people on my "people to get even with" list but that's all done with now.

Besides, now no one gets upset or jealous if I use the wrong name anymore.

There´s Rascatripas and Punzabarrigas (Which in English would be something like Gutscratcher and Bellypoker, taken from a Spanish translation of Cyrano De Bergerac), and then there are:

Doc, Bashful, Sleepy, Happy, Sneeze, Dopey and Grumpy.

Just kidding and by the way, I believe this has been asked before, a search may bring something up.

Luis

i always refer to each knife as "Stabby" or "Killy", when i'm talking to other people. but it's all in good fun. :D
