Glock :footinmou :D

I actually don't own any Glocks. Shot some, and they are nice. Looked at a Glock 21 and 30 along with a Kimber Custom. I bought the Kimber, just felt right to me.

The one 1911 clone I am very interested in is Sig's version  . It looks GOOD!

Love your answer.....I have a 27 and a 36, my son has a 21 and his GF has a 22 and AFAIK all are very happy campers. If I were ever faced with having to go into harms way armed only with a handgun and had to do so with a box stock example, it would most definitely be one of Gaston's company's creations!

I got (anonymous, of course) negative rep points once for saying that Glocks are plastic POS. Might get some more, probably gutless anonymous again.

The 1911 Browning design rocks.

The 1911 is a John Browning design. Colt is one of the manufacturers that made them. Springfield Arms was another long time maker. There were many.

My favorite was one I built up from a Mark IV, series 70 Colt. With a Wilson trigger and hammer, an Ed Brown match grade barrel, throated and ported and with the slide polished, it was a tack driver.

Kimber makes really good ones.

The nicest commercially made one I ever saw in person was a custom put out by Ed Brown.

It is the design that makes this gun what it is. It has been adapted very well to customization.
