I just recently ordered a Randall Model 25 with a 6" blade for outdoor use. As usual, I have to buy sight unseen. Does anyone own or have experience with this knife?
What's your favorite Randall and why?
Thanks
I'm in the same boat as you are, as I have a Model 25 Trapper on order also. I currently own Model no. 1 & 14. I like the feel of the Model 1. I have a friend that has a Model 25, and I'm getting tired of drooling all over it when I look at it. Its a great looking knife, plus it has a nice balance also.
I own a model 25 and love the knife. The blade choil is a good feature about the knife. It is an all around decent outdoor knife. I think you will enjoy yours.
I also own a Randall #25-6 in stainless. It has great looks and plenty of heft for an outdoors knife. It can dress large game and provide in a survival situation. I had a Randall #5-6 before but the #25 is a more substantial knife. I like the leather/stag handle. I think you'll enjoy yours.
I own the model 25-5" in O-1. This knife is a great "traditional" hunting knife. Stag and leather handle, brass hilt and butt cap and leather pouch sheath with stone pocket. This knife invariably seems to strike the fancy the most of my many knives when shown to my buddies who are hunters. Very nice piece.
