It's a "borrowed" photo, but I's sure like some info on this one. At first I thought I'd never seen anything like it, but then realized that it looked alot like my fixed blade Koji Hara by Buck but without the fancy stone step bolster. Any idea when this one was made? It appears to be the same blade, just done up differently. Also, the Koji is ATS-34 and has the Bos logo on it where this one doesn't. Wonder if it's the same steel or not.

Here's my Koji's for comparison.

Hi Dave! I always thought they had the stone step bolsters? Guess I don't know LOL
If the blade steel isnt stamped, I would bet on 420HC myself. It looks like a sweet knife!
I would check the early to mid 2000 Buck catalogs for that model! Good luck! Those are some beautiful knives! Thank you for the pics!

Nice knife... elk handle... but I'd agree that $190. is high unless you are just interested in the unusual.

In regard to the other thread, that was a nice gift from DM to Plum. This forum is great for that kind of thing - matching people to wanted knives, but gifting it makes it even more special.
