Does anyone recognize this walking dead knife ?

Trying to figure out what the knife is that Merle carries in season3.
The black sheathed knife on his right hip
I was able to grab a few pics off of the net







Any help would be really appreciated.

looks like a M1 bayonet to me

I am talking about the black sheathed knife that is on his right hip, not the m39 turkish mauser bayonette that is on his prosthetic arm.

ahhh, I just assumed it was the one that was clearly visible. cant really see much, but its probably a generic hollow handle saw back survival knife.

The handle there looks closer.
With all the gerbers and the busse knife, I would think that Merles knife would be something of a name as well.
But it is seen so little.
He only draws it once from what I recall in season three episode episode 6 "Hounded"
This is the only photo I could find with the blade drawn...not very helpful, I don't think.

I am not able to post pics right now, however there is a swedish bayonet that has a similar profile, its not exact, but it is close.
