These pics are from the late 1990's, their Hawg knives and I think the maker was Mike Franklin?
When I wanted these, they were financially out of the question. Would love to know any info on this maker and his knives??

Thanks in advance! mct54

There was a recent episode of the podcast “Mark of the Maker” that talked about Mike Franklin and Hawg Knives. Mike was a mentor to one of the hosts, Sean Kendrick. It’s episode 84- “History Combisode”. The portion about Mike starts around the 41 minute mark.

Yeah I remember those.....Hawg knockoffs imported by Fury were a big thing at all the better class fleamakets in the late 1990s.......

I believe Mike Franklin is still an active maker though.

Listen to it just now thanks for that info!

I have a 90s era small fixed blade. Excelllent knife. I sent it off to be sharpened and buffed about 10+ years ago. He was old then. I found him through his website which is gone.
