Does anyone carry and use a inlayed Sebenza other then the Micarta one. I have been looking at getting one, but I would use it.

Also can CRK clean it up once the handles get scratched. I would think they would need to pull in inlays out, which I don't know if they could do without messing them up.

thanks for the help

I have used a small inlaid Sebenza for about two years. It has a few searches but not many and the inlay appears to be perfect. I carry my knife down in my pocket, not using the clip. In my pocket there is a bullet pen, a money clip and a flashlight. The Sebenza is a sturdy tool.

They do have to pull the inserts in you want a complete refurb. At least they did on mine. It is several dollars more than the standard refurb also.

I've used wood inlay with no problem or worries. If it gets a little wear on the knife I think it makes the knife look great. Makes it yours.
Refurbs are not am issue. CRK will have it looking new again. Not sure of the cost though.

I carry a large wooden inlay sebbie every day. It's about two years old and has hardly any marks on the wood, the Ti shows usual signs of use but no big deal. My blade has more marks and scratches than the rest of the knife. They make a great user so I would recommend it without hesitation.

Edit to add: At least on my knife, the wood has darkened a bit with use, I would say it is because of naturally occurring oils in my hands. Would love to know if others have seen this on their knives

Thanks for the info.

Looks like my next knife will be a wood inlay Sebbie. SWEEEEEEET

Feel free to post pics of your user inlays

I have a snakewood inlay small Sebbie. I use it and while it's got the scratches of a user they are superficial. Eventually, I'll get it refurbished but it still looks good.

I quite often carry an inlaid Seb or two (I've got a pair of Cocobolos) -- no problems, and no worries!!
