Does ayone own this Knife?

Good luck on finding much info on Bayley's. Ive tried myself. From my understanding they are great but very expensive. They are very practical and look to be of high quality.

A guy on another forum site bought one and thought it was nice but not worth the $. Nothing special about it other than Bear's name on it. You can get something as good for a lot cheaper.

I can't speak as to the quality of the Baylee knife, but for the USD cost of $500+, I would much rather have a couple of Doziers. I mention Doziers cause I noticed that you mention wanting some in your introduction post. I can attest to their quality as being excellent!:thumbup::D

Btw, welcome aboard Jaben!

The general consensus is that it's a fine knife. RWL-34 steel is a very high performance stainless steel (basically a powdered metallurgy variant of ATS-34), and all other materials and construction seem to be very good.

It is however, absurdly overpriced. 365 quid is nearly $600 USD. If you're willing to spend that much money, you can get pretty much anything you want as far as custom knives go and have some to spare. As Splat said, a lot of what you're paying for is Bear's name on the blade.

And remember that Bear Grylls designed the knife for himself, to match his preferences. His preferences might not be the same as yours.

I wonder if there is someone that can custom make a sub $100 version for me? I love the sheath.
