I just got a Buck880T through a trade. The blade was a bit dull to my liking.I sharpened up the strait part of the blade pretty good with my sharpmaker, but I'm having trouble getting an edge on the slanted tanto edge.I really like this knife. It feels really solid in my hand.
My question is does Buck offer "tune ups" & sharpening on their knives. If so,how much do you think it'll cost me?Any phone #'s or Addresses?

Thanks for any info:)

Yep JTR- Buck will tune-up your knife for $6.95. Included features are sharpening and a spiffin'-up...Phone and address information on the website. If and when you do ship a box to Post Falls use this 'To:' line heading--- BKI --- instead of Buck Knives. I know of some suspect activity by 'telegraphing' the contents of the box in such a manner.
When purchasing a Cabela's Pro-Line Buck knife, part of the deal is 'Lifetime Sharpening'....if that would be something you would like to consider?

In your box that your Alaskan Guide S30V knives came in, is a paper from Cabellas as well as the one from Buck.

Read that closely. As Goose pointed out a year or so back, that paper says "Free Lifetime Sharpening".

I haven't heard of anyone here taking advantage of that , nor do I know how it works. But since I am S30V sharpening challenged, I may look into it.

10-4 Larry Rat...same for the "Pro-Line" marked knives.
