Does Busse epoxy their handles?

I'm thinking about buying a busse but do they epoxy their handle so no moisture can get in the handle slab.

I'm also really concerned about discoloring and corrosion, does Infi act more like carbon or stainless? Does the blade turn purple when it contacts fruits?
