Title pretty much says it all - does Case me a jigged bone mini wharncliffe trapper? The only one I could find was a single bladed wharny, but would really kinda like having the clip + wharn. They have a tiny, but at 2 3/8", it seems like it may be a weee bit small for my liking. They also have the minis with the brighter colored + smooth handles, but I'm not entire crazy about the non-jigged and am generally more attracted to the more classic/traditional colorings. Perhaps any other brands that are in the same price range?

They made a run a couple years back, there should still be some around. They came in some pretty colorful bone, orange, green, purple, etc. They made both 3-1/2" minis and 4-1/8" standards with the Wharncliffe second blade.

Yes! And you can still find some here and there! The colors are loud!
But They made one in 2007 in the Tested Red jigged bone,
It's not that bad! The color is darker and it's not crazy like
the Purple,Salmon,etc.! But it's a great knife!

Looking here most cases look good but looking at their page they make them in many strange colours and special handles. A true mystery for me how they can sell some of them.
I have through time started to like the looks of them warncliffe blades and I think them to best suit the trapper pattern.

@black mamba: Yeah, I've found those minis, but I'm really not feeling the colorful/smooth bone they use (think we're talking about the same ones?).

@NirreBosse: Gotta try to track that one done to see what it's like... And the search begins :)

Some websites still have a good selection of them, including the tested red.

I recently picked this one up from a forum member. The Tested Red Bone is very handsome.

I've got one in sour green apple bone....it's er, more like algae slime! Acid trip. Pity as the jigging is excellent and the fit&finish wonderful, also has a CASE bow-tie shield . The pattern with Wharncliffe is much superior to the Spey bladed original from my point of view.

CASE need to release this in some decent bone, Chestnut,Amber or even this new Olive Green which I fancy.

Yup, think that's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. I generally prefer an amber or some other brown color, but the dark red is indeed quite attractive. Thanks for the pic!

As an aside, I think I found the knifeswapper site, but it doesn't seem to have any knives listed? Or do you need to register before you can browse?

Please take this and all vendor discussion (per the posted guidelines) to email or PM. C'mon fellas..., read 'em and follow 'em. It's not complicated.

I've got one of the Case mini wharncliffe trappers and unfortunatly they are made with smooth bone not jigged bone like the OP requested. The large wharncliffe trappers were available in jigged bone, though. :o

Yes they did, two I know of:

2001-02 Select had a bermuda green 6207w item # 02430
2004 Amber or antique jigged bone 6207w
