Does CRK take custom orders?

What I'm wondering is not if CRK will make an entirely new knife, but if they're willing to factory modify some of their existing designs if you custom order it. I'd love to have a project one with a sawback, kind of like a Randall Model 18, but IMHO probably more robust since it's not welded anywhere. I've owned an Aviator and loved it, but found it a little small for my liking. Does anyone know if they will do this sort of thing? I won't be able to afford it for several months at least, but just trying to gather information at this point.

I'm affraid that CRK neither doesn't take custom orders nor doesn't modify knives to customer's liking.

They used to do that long years ago... but not any more.

The MkIV sounds like the one:

Got mine in '87. I don't think they've been made for years.

Yeah, that's basically what I'm looking for, but as you say they haven't been made for years, and I can't find any on the FS forum, unfortunately. I wish they'd bring that one back.
