I've looked online a time or two and found nothing on the edge co. I was a big fan of them in the 1980's and am always looking for their knives. What are you looking for?

Hey me too. I've purchaced several knives from them durring the '80s. I don't think they exist anymore. 
Byrom Hermo the knife in question fits this discription.
It was a small folder, with a spine lock, black Titanium Nitrate like coating on the blade and scales. Fully serrated spear point blade. Metal scales most likely some 420 steel or something in that could also be aluminium. Seems it was a designer creation maybe Lightfoot, Crawford, Carson, Pardue.

Nimravus, I did some quick research in my edge co. catalogs and found nothing like what you described. They end in 1989 so maybe your item was a 1990's piece.
