Does Emerson ever take customer suggested/drawn designs

Emerson will not make custom designs but there are custom makers who will.
I'd try one of those guys if you want something made to your own specs.

It was indeed but things like that and other collaborations between EKI and people they are familiar with are far more likely to happen than someone just sending a drawing or CAD file to them. :)

Actually the Tanto was an old Emerson custom design from way back when.

It became a Special Edition piece first with I&I Sports of Southern California. Years later Ernest did another run for EDC incorporating thicker liners, bead blasted blades and green G10 (I&I's were all black)
