does flame anodizing damage the "springyness" on a titanium framelock?

so i want to flame anodize a couple of my frame lock titanium knives but im worried about the effect it could have on the frame lock tab. I dont know about the properties of titanium when it comes to its spring like abilities. I have no idea if this is something it always has or if its something that must be brought out by heat treating or some other method.

does titanium have to be heat treated to make it springy (similar to steel)?

will the frame lock work the same after anodizing or will i have to do some type of heat treat after the flame anodizing?

I've heat anodized many ti folders and I've never noticed a lack of spring compression.

If you're worried, you can anodize it with 9v batteries.

in my experience flame anodizing is much tougher.
i bought a pivot scre that was anodized using electricity and the finish wore off in no time but when i sanded off the previous finish and flame anodized it the finish has held up way better. after 2 months it still has almost zero wear.

so i would like to stick to flame anodizing.

does anyone else have experience with flame anodizing Ti frame locks?
