Does Flitz Metal, Plastic and Fiberglass Polish have an expiry date?

When polishes like these (Flitz, Simichrome, etc) get REALLY OLD, you might notice the liquid suspension has dried up. BUT, the very fine abrasive grit is still there, and hasn't degraded a bit. So long as you can still squeeze it from the tube, it's still usable and will polish just as well as it ever did. I mention this, because I have a tube of polish that's at least 25 years old*, and it got pretty dry & more 'pasty'. Still works just fine. :)

* = I forget the brand of the polish at the moment, but it might've been similar or identical to Simichrome; it's a pink-colored German-made brand that was labelled as being made in 'West Germany', which after German reunification, hasn't even existed since 1990. ;)

I have many tubes of different polishes I know are 20-25 years old or more. All are still good to go. I had a tube of Simichrome from the 70's that I finally used up not to long ago.
