Does G-10 or Zytel Fade?

G10 can develop what I call a kind of haze. Basically it kind of dries out. I've read that you can put all kinds of stuff on it to hydrate it so to speak. Some people say mineral oil or WD-40, but I personally have used Armour All many times and it works like a charm. I have not seen this in FRN.
 
My 710 has some sort of grayish-blue rub marks near the clip attachment below the lanyard hole. Rubbing and fading perhaps, partly because that's where I grasp the knife.
