After seeing Skunk's new prize, Do you ever think of how many other rare or never seen before Busse items there are? How many treasures lost to time, that are collecting value in someone's safe? What pieces may be lurking in that secret stash box in someone’s house? How many one of a kind early Busses are tucked somewhere warm that may never be seen again? I wonder in a little pawn shop half a world a way, is there a SH 1 proto waiting for someone to find it? How many are locked in old footlockers in a dusty attic waiting to be free...The world may never know..

Right there with you FOS! I keep wondering what gets thrown out at the shop, what GFD's get tossed by Jerry... what proto's get rejected, etc... I would still love a blade blank to have on my desk from the old lost and found box... or perhaps whatever protos jerry made before he came up with the AD!?! Yeah... the mind does wander...:confused:
 
i wonder what happened to the knives pre busse combat/pre steelheart 1.... all the non infi knives....

and id like to see some of the broken proto's :D
 
Eric, you hit the nail on the head with that pic... I would love a few of those... one could make the worlds most dangerous wind chime!
 
are those test blades, or finish mistakes (grind and what not)?

and is that a SWORD in the middle right?!?:eek:

can these be had????????????? (maybe free of warranty??) :confused: :D :confused:

maybe so, but with a little persuasive grinding to center the weight, you could have some mighty nice ghetto throwers in there....:)

but seriously... that would be one awesome wind chime...
 
Hey Jerry -- You like the wind chime idea? Here's what I posted way back in January on your ORIGINAL POST

"Jerry -- Don't throw those blades out, there's still $$$ to be made by selling them as INFI Wind Chimes.

Can you guys picture it? No more pesky solicitors knocking on your door after they hear, and then see the king of all wind chimes.
Problems with the religeous folks trying to convert you? Just hang an INFI Wind Chime by the front door and let the breeze blow your problems away.
They would each be unique, with different combinations of blade sizes and a chunk of Nukarta as the clapper. Many with partial grinds, a few with the coating, all with the sweet ring of INFI.

So, what do you think Jerry? I bet you would get more for them than the scrap dealer is going to pay. I know the Hogs would oink them up. Just say that you'll think about it, please.

I do think about this all the time. I know that one day I will run across a unloved pice of obscure Busse Goodness. There are many pre INFI gems out there, some of which you would never guess were made by Jerry. Stinky has proven that!
