Kind of on a grail search here, and it seems what I'm looking for might not even exist. Is there now or was there ever an SMF CC with a stonewashed Ti lock side that had a steel other than the standard S30V or CPM154? I'm just not a huge fan of those steels once you get outside the $250 price range. PD-1, 3V, Z-wear, etc seem to be better-fitting steels to take advantage of the nigh-legendary strength of Striders.

It just doesn't seem to be around, though. I dislike flat handles, and love the look of the rounded Ti on CCs, but also think the flamed finish is tacky. I wish Strider took commissions on production-level knives...
 
I'd really like to have a SNG w/ CPM 154 and the heat flame TI :D
 
Yeah they exist. You must have to pay attention to the dealers. The ones I usually frequent aren't paying members here so I can't mention them.

The tri-brid SmF with S110V steel that TNK offered a few years ago has a CC stone washed titanium scale on the back, and the full G10 lego scale on the front.

It is (in my opinion) one of the best designs as it offers the comfort of the CC and the strength of the full scale on front.

Unfortunately, I think this was a special run for TNK to celebrate their "coming to America". They rarely come up for re-sale.

I also think I remember seeing a few customs from Strider that had the desired configuration, but they are salty.

Oye. 110V as well. My dream Strider exists.

It's just as rare as siamese albino unicorns with green eyes.

I'm already sending emails to people that have sold theirs, in the hopes of getting the contact info of a person who has one still.

Also, if you're reading this, want 900 bucks? :P
