Does it exist?

I think it must, but I get confused trying to figure out the different models.

I have rather large hands (former strongman, etc though long ago).

So, at least 4" long, when closed, and rather thick.

One small blade - maybe a harness punch? Something good for getting blister packs open.

And one large blade - not a clip point - for fruit, etc.

As for other blades - a sheepsfoot is handy, at times.

Either D2 or carbon steel.

I'm sure between GEC, Queen and Case someone makes something like this.

Any suggestions?

I have some trappers, and other things, but I guess I need a smaller blade to use on the train - got a little too much attention when I used my trapper on the train to NYC.

S&M president's choice equal end cigar
4.25" closed,D2 steel (spearpoint main and pen sec. )

A GEC #54 Harness Jack like this would seem to fill your bill. 4 1/8" closed. Very heavy, stocky, blade. 1095 blade steel.

You can buy one just like the one shown from Mike Latham (a paying Blade Forums dealer) at www.collectorknives.net. The knife is on page 5 of his Great Eastern Cutlery secton at the bottom of the page in the EDC section at a very reasonalble price. http://www.collectorknives.net/greateastern5.html

I've had a few of these and they are very robust. The punch comes in very handy. I sharpened the edge of the punch on one of my knives and while it performed well as a punch it also made a handy secondary blade for small cutting chores.

Wait a minute, wait a minute. You said not a clip and that's what I showed you. Sorry. If you look at page 1 of his GEC section, you'll see one with a spear blade with Frontier Bone and if you ask him in an e-mail, I'd bet he has more that he just isn't showing at the present time. Anyway, clip blade or spear blade, these are great knives.

An English Jack should fill your hand. 4.25" usually Spear/Pen minor but other arrangements too.

Queen QCCC in carbon, bone, wood, stag. Schatt Keystone EJs as well.

Consider a GEC 54 Cuban Pen single-spring with Clip/Pen. 4 and one eighth"

Bigger still but two spring, a GEC Pioneer Jack 4.5" The big ones are out there....

Thanks, will

Case Cigar Whittler might be something to look at. 4 1/2" closed, main blade is a spear point, and has two decently sized blades hinged opposite the spear, a pen and a spey typically.

Maybe a cattle knife rather than a stockman? Often a spear instead of a clip, and oval instead of serpentine, otherwise like a stockman.

This Kissing Crane Whittler would seem to fit your requirements well, plus mine was considerably less expensive than other choices. Robust main spear, hand filling handle, thin/short/yet substantial secondary blades. I've used mine and am very happy with it. Worth taking a look at IMO.

I think the #54 GEC harness jack meets your needs. - Spear blade main can be found
I think the #53 Cattle Barron also has a punch among it's 4 blades. - Clip blade main only

These come up occasionally.... never seen one with a spear.
