Does it really matter if your spydie was not numbered?

OK folks, just a provocative point -- There are collectors and users, which one are you? or both? Say if there is a demand for numbered spydies : 1-200, how much would any of the knives from 2-199 fetch? Is there a pricing guide for first batches of spydies with serial numbers? Just curious, I have two blades : a C55 starmate numbered 685 and a Wegner numbered 734. Anyone out there with Starmate no 686 and Wegner no 745?
