Hey guys,

I was wondering; every time I apply my tuf-cloth there is always a film left on the blade, no matter how long I let it sit to dry. Do I just wipe off the film? What are your tuf-cloth secrets? Thanks.

I'll see if I can get Mark Mrazeks address for you, hes the tuff cloth guy and would be glad to talk to you about it. I do know that he said the marine tuffcloth is supposed to leave a visual residue, but I cannot tell you more.

Yes, you can wipe off the film and the Thin Film Rust Inhibitor will remain. As your Tuf-Cloth gets older, the odorless mineral spirits carrier will evaporate, and less of a film will be left on your blade. The Marine Tuf-Cloth will always leave more of a film than the regular one, but this has not been a problematic phenomenon in my experience. Walt
