Hey guys. So im a huge metal head and what ive realized is that 95% of the people i know who carry knives are metal heads so i was wondering what kind of music people like. Bear in mind this is not the place to post music that will get you shanked lol.

I like a little of everything. Not sure that metal does have anything to do with my knives. I heard a song the other day, "On and on South of ZT 0550!!" by Slayer. Then there was "Age of Elmax steel!" by Chimaira. Wait, wait... it might have been "Fade to Becker" by Metallica. Then again.... it could have been the RUM and the sheer and utter disappointment by Oz the great and powerful that did it. \m/

Dude, wouldnt it be awsome if gwar did a song about their swords?

I'm not a true metal head, but... I guess I do kind of enjoy the more intense music. Never even thought of that connection before :p

Rap or hip hop? Like I said, I like a lot of music. I love Twiztid and Tech N9ne, totally sick of all this swagger rap shit though.

I just got into Dimmu Borgir, it's like my secret fetish. Metal to another extreme. Oops, battery at 5 percent. Good bye for now.

Im officially calling out benchwarmer380. I see that your reading the thread and i really want to know your opinion :)

I like rock, all forms of it. From the early 50s era until today's stuff. Today I was listening to Led Zeppelin, Halestorm, Dream Theater, and the Black Crowes

Funny story. Last monday my friend invited me to a show. The keyboardest from dream theater was playing at berkley so my friend invites me to a "metal concert" We show up and its set up like a movie theater, no room to mosh or anything. Turns out it was the drummer and keyboardest doing creative stuff and improv instead of an actual metal show lol. People were more quiet there than they are at the christmas pops lol

Hahaha. Now was that the new drummer or Mike Portnoy, who recently formed a couple new bands?

Rock/Indie/Alternative for me.
I like some stuff that's a little heavier... but then... that's not all that heavy either. Lol.
There are a few that are kinda heavy, Kittie, In This Moment, Etc.
I prefer stuff I can sit and listen to the lyrics of and relate with and find myself singing though.

I don't think it has anything to do with the knives I like though.
It may, I will get back to you on that.

I dont remember who the drummer was. He was from another big name band and he also teaches at berkley. I will say it was the first time i told my parents that i was going to a metal show and came home without a single bruise lol
