I emailed Blackhawk support; they said they shut down MOD line of knives entirely. That's such a pity and a shame since MOD makes great great knives with awesome design that isn't mall ninja.

Blackhawk basically bought them out, stole their designs to make plastic handled 440C crap, and then shut them down. What a F-ing waste and a shame!

:thumbdn::thumbdn: with Blackhawk!

What Blackhawk put out was a far cry from the original MOD knives which were of top quality.

I talked with the dealer representative, and he says the idea a month ago was to discontinue the MOD line altogether. But now they have decided to continue with it! Good news! And what do you know on their site, they even have some 'improved' original MOD knives... http://www.blackhawk.com/catalog/Folding,37.htm The handles on the Pointman and Hornet are changed, they are just solid AL now, not more grip tape. I hope they design more folders.
