Howdy all,

Yep, title says it all. My google-fu is weak, or it doesn't exist. I find it hard to believe that it doesn't exist though...

So, does Mossberg make a youth stock for the Mossberg 500 shotgun in 20ga.? If so, where can I find it?

Help a Dad take his daughter shooting!

Thank you in advance,
Mongo

Mossberg 500 bantam model. That was my first gun, still use it from time to time. Very solid little gun. I still shot it very well as I'm a rather short person.

The Bantams are good guns. I'm a six-footer and I'd rather have a short stock than a long stock. The short stock fits better when you're wearing heavy clothing.

dang I got beat...but yes, the bantam is what you need for a shorter stock. Or, if you already have the gun, get an m-4 style pistol grip stock for it.

I personally have one of these stocks on my mossberg 835. It is not only adjustable in length, but it also reduces the felt kick compared to the oem stock.

there are also other companies than ati gun stocks that make an m-4 style stock for mossberg shotguns, like knoxx, but ati are a bit less pricey.

Well, I called Mossberg directly today.

They do have an adjustable black synthetic stock for their 500 in 20ga. It is not directly on their site, but they do have the Bantam 500 on it. It was a little more than I had wanted to spend, but I figure that I have two kids to get use out of it. May be the ticket for the missus too.
